The Wimbledon Solid Natural Oak Storage Bed Frame will perfectly complement any bedroom with its stylish design featuring a classic slatted headboard and minimalist footboard, as well as handy storage capabilities. This storage bed features four integrated storage drawers for a neat and tidy storage solution. There is a clearance of 44cm at the head end to allow for a bedside cabinet on either side without impeding the drawers.
With a frame crafted from American White Oak & High Quality Real Oak Veneer, this storage bed is sturdy and durable. The central inset panel of the headboard and footboard are made from MDF for structural purposes, as well as a real oak veneer that ensures an even tone across the whole bed frame. The Wimbledon Natural Oak Bed Storage Bed is also finished with a lightweight clear lacquer to enhance the natural grain of the oak and protect it throughout its lifetime.
The storage drawer front panels are constructed from finger-joint solid oak and high quality real oak veneer. For the drawer box (sides and back) we use finger-joint rubberwood (Hevea) with no veneer. The drawer base is MDF with real oak veneer. For environmental, efficiency and aesthetic purposes, our bed frames are constructed from individual lengths of solid oak that are finger-jointed together. We then use a high quality real oak veneer which is made from 0.6mm slices cut directly from American white oak trees and is bonded to the oak bed frame to ensure consistency in the grain and colour. Each drawer has an internal storage capacity of 51.44 Litres (measuring internally 592mm Wide x 568mm Deep x 153mm High). Each drawer face is 690mm Wide x 265mm High x 20mm Deep.
The Side rails are 362mm high – your mattress will sit inset of the side rails, approximately 320mm from the floor.
